Creative participation and enyojement of cultural life is fundamental human right. Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities – JSKD RS offers opportunities and occasions for fulfillment of this right – for cultural participation, for promotion and accessibillity of the best achivements for international comparison, and education.

JSKD Office Ivančna Gorica is a non-profit governmental institution for culture and art. It instigates and connects non-professional and non-institutional cultural activities in three communities Dobrepolje, Ivančna Gorica in Grosuplje. It is functioning primarily as a focal point for education in culture and backs cultural projects. It also takes care of international co-operation of Slovenian amateur artists and cultural groups. It co-operates closely with organisations, associations and clubs of Slovenians who live in other countries all over the world as well as with similar European organisations.

JSKD RS prepares seminars for members of various cultural groups, school tutors and enthusiasts, interested in art and other creative processes.

Our staff of specialised experts is able to provide advice and organisational support for amateur culture and art. It also organises annual reviews and festivals of Slovenian non-institutional art and cultural activities.

Music, theatre and puppet theatre, ethno, sculpture, painting, pottera, folklore, film, contemporary dance, literature, publishing, awards, public tenders, for cultural projects.

We enlarge accessibility of cultural goods and quality of cultural activities in the entire Slovene cultural space but especialy and mostly for three communities: Dobrepolje, Ivančna Gorica and Grosuplje.
